Does Barack Obama have leadership qualities of John F. Kennedy or Abe Lincoln?
Handwriting expert Bart Baggett posted a rarely seen before handwritten note by presidential candidate Barack Obama on his website today. Baggett, considered one of America’s leading handwriting expert (seen on Larry King Live, CNN, Court TV, etc.) states his analysis is “totally unbiased and the positive reviews are not politically motivated. ”
Republicans might not like the mostly positive personality reviews written by Baggett at his website of Mr. Obama, www.HandwritingUniversity.com. However, Baggett defends his analysis as “I’m just writing the personality traits as the writing dictates. Any one of my thousands of “Certified” students worldwide would have extracted the same personality traits from this sample of handwriting. I do admit that a cluster of “strong and likeable” personality traits does not always prove to be a great president. But, based on my research the character traits Mr. Obama’s handwriting displays is typical of world renown corporate and political leaders throughout history.
Mr. Baggett has been unable to get a full handwritten note from Senator John McCain to properly compare the candidate’s leadership qualities. “I don’t think comparing just signatures is really enough writing to be accurate, truly insightful, and comprehensive. When approached with the proven system we teach, graphology is a scientific based personality tool that can be incredibly useful in business, politics, and even relationships. Why minimize it by analyzing just a signature?” So, Baggett is still waiting for someone to come forward with a full page of handwriting from Mr. McCain.
So, is Obama’s handwriting really a glowing example of leadership and charisma?
The only trait Mr. Obama’s writing falls short on is the infamous high and long t-bar revealing a high self-esteem and visionary thinker. Baggett’s best-selling book “The Success Secrets of the Rich and Happy” (Empress Publishing, $17.95) states that the height of the t-bar is one highly dependable indicator of a person’s healthy self-esteem and ability to plan ahead with vision. (See John. F. Kennedy’s autograph and note his long and high t-bar.)
The book also goes on to state the absence of any single handwriting stroke does not mean the person does not necessarily have elements of that character trait … esteem can come in many places in the writing. Mr. Obama has confidence and a healthy ego… as shown in his large beginning letters of his autograph. So, we aren’t sure of his esteem from his letter t, alone.
Baggett says this about Obama’s letter t, “Obama has a preponderance of the character trait persistence and the fluidity of thinking (letters connecting into other letters). These two traits appear in the same location as the typical “esteem” stroke in the crossbar of the letter t. Therefore, it is difficult to say his esteem is low or high… he just has so much fluidity of thinking (ability to weave words and speak eloquently) … we have to look elsewhere to confirm his level of esteem. Based on the t-bar alone, the esteem would be called average… but professional handwriting analysts don’t judge by just one stroke alone… indicators in the rest of handwriting indicate an above average level of confidence and self-esteem.”
Bart Baggett is one of the world’s top court qualified handwriting experts. He is president of Handwriting University, which has students in over 17 countries and campuses in the USA, India, and Taiwan. He is a frequent guest on such TV networks as Court TV, CNN, and Fox News. He has even successfully survived appearances on the Howard Stern Show and VH1’s ” I Love New York”.

Do you think the handwriting samples of a typical self-made millionaire look different than your own? If so, what does that mean about his or her personality? Do you possess the following ‘winning traits’?1. High self-esteem

5. Emotional intensity
6. Vision
7. Big ego
Before I wrote my latest book, ‘The Success Secrets of the Rich & Happy,’ a 440+ page book, I drafted a fascinating article about how handwriting traits are typically found in the writing of successful men and women.
Naturally, my latest book goes into about 430 more pages of depth and instruction on how you can change yourself to become more wealthy and happy. I think you will find this on-line special report fascinating.
Handwriting Reveals Your Success Potential and How You Can Improve Your Odds.
Do you have what it takes to become a multi-millionaire or historical leader of people? Do you write like Real Estate tycoon, Donald Trump, or perhaps the visionary orator who changed the face of America, Martin Luther King, Jr.?
What does it take to go from humble beginnings to a life of influence, affluence, contribution and wealth?
Are you on the path to being a self-made super success - having abundance of time, money and freedom to do whatever you want?
It isn’t necessarily luck, hard work or timing that makes you rich. In most cases, self-made men and women from all walks of life have certain personality traits in common. Therefore, in completely different circumstances, cultures, and having different resources, these people make the right decisions that make them rich. Are you headed in the right direction?
I’ve spent much of my adult life researching this topic. I am insatiably curious about how some people lead a life of luxury, and others with equal or greater potential choose a life of misery and poverty. I am always asking the successful people I meet, what it took for them to get there. The answers vary. Many weren’t quite sure themselves how they had accomplished so much.
As I looked at their handwriting, certain patterns and themes emerged. In fact, with few exceptions and high accuracy, I can now spot a person on the path to greatness, just by looking at their handwriting. Likewise, there are certain different traits that failures often possess. I have trained myself to spot these. I have narrowed down the hundreds of handwriting traits to what I believe to be the key personality characteristics that are common amongst achievers and especially self-made millionaires. (I should note that financial accomplishment is not my only criteria for being successful.)
In fact, many of the super wealthy are no longer or never were, motivated by the money. If you are planning super success in areas other than cash, read on… many of the same personality traits are relevant to the Martin Luther King Jr.’s and the Bill Gates’ of the world. “A Few Good Reasons You Should Not Date Danny… and Why You Should Always Analyze the Handwriting Before the First Date”
By Bart Baggett
President, Handwriting University
A close friend of mine picked Danny out of 52 possible dates last week from the America Online profiles dating pool. He liked to dance, had a way with words, and seemed to have it all together. In her prudence, she had Danny fax a full page written letter to be analyzed before she accepted the date. Good move. She saved herself heart-ache and possible injury. Danny is not the most stable man in the AOL dating club and he doesn’t have a date with my friend.
1. Fear of success downward y-loops 2. Wide variety of m and n shapes … this makes me wonder about drug use or a general lack of emotional stability 3. High crossed t-bar = Good confidence & ambition 4. Downward t-bar w/ point = control issues = domineering. 5. Lying loops = shades the truth… will lie to your face. 6. Excessive angles in the middle and lower zone = aggression 7. Capital (personal pronoun) “I” that is pulled to the left = emotional withdrawal and unresolved emotional issues related to parents (often this person has needy issues relating to his mother)

Everyone’s always asking about strokes that aren’t in the book. So, here’s one you might find interesting to know and even challenging to interpret. It has to do with sexual issues and sexual perversions that can sometimes be detected in the lower loops of the letter “y.” Listen to this lecture from the Level 3: Handwriting Analysis Certification Course as Bart Baggett discusses the definition of sexual perversion. Plus, how you can interpret the triangle stroke found in the “y” loop with greater success.
This trait doesn’t always mean someone is wild in bed, several other strokes can change the meaning of this one….making it a challenge for most handwriting experts to analyze. And, latest research (not in the audio) indicate that the author might have bisexual tendencies or thoughts. Hmmm.
You will also want to listen for the difference between the triangle loop and the lower stroke of the “y” which indicates persistence…
Here is the “y” chart for your reference, a few samples of a triangle “y” loop and the graphodeck card for Persistence….
Below are some other traits found in the lower loop of the letter “y” pertaining to sexuality.

“Hi, I just attended the Handwriting Conference. It was great.
We learned so many things that is beyond just
explanation. All of the information we were given, loved
it. Met the people, great people, full of good will
towards one another. Was just a great conference. Enjoyed
it. Handwriting is wonderful. Would recommend
anyone to become a handwriting analyst.– Brenda Petty, Duncan OK.
Why do some people always seem to fight in a relationship? Perhaps they are just looking for a challenge. You can see the trait relating to a need for a challenge called stingers in the d’s, c’s and a’s of a person’s handwriting.
If you have this trait you may want to ask yourself why you need a challenge…all the time. You can always find someone to have a relationship with that challenges your intellect but if you tend to go for difficult, dangerous or problem people, it’s a good idea to evaluate what drives this desire and eliminate any resentment you may have toward the opposite sex.
If you are dating someone with “stingers” in their handwriting…hold on…you may be in for a bumpy ride.
Just know that, ultimately, you can find healthy ways to fulfill your constant need for a challenge in your life and have a healthy relationship as well.
Listen to this segment from the Handwriting Analysis Certification Course as Bart and Curt Baggett discuss relationship compatibility, stingers and resentment.
You can refer to the “STINGERS” Graphodeck Card while listening to the audio

Can you find the 7 stingers in this sample of handwriting?
If you have “stingers” in your handwriting and want to work on this trait using the technique of Grapho-Therapy, I highly recommend the workbook Change Your Life, Change Your Handwriting! You’ll be amazed at how simply changing a stroke can have a profound effect on your personality and your happiness.

I remember my dad teaching me the power of
language at a very young age. Not only did my dad understand that specific words affect our mental pictures, but he understood words are a powerful programming factor in lifelong success.
One particularly interesting event occurred when
I was eight. As a kid, I was always climbing trees,
poles, and literally hanging around upside down
from the rafters of our lake house. So, it came as
no surprise to my dad to find me at the top of a
30-foot tree, swinging back and forth. My little
eight-year-old brain didn’t realize the tree could
break or I could get hurt. I just thought it was fun
to be up so high.
My older cousin, Tammy, was also in the same
tree. She was hanging on the first big limb, about
ten feet below me. Tammy’s mother also noticed
us at the exact same time my dad did. About that
time a huge gust of wind came over the tree. I could
hear the leaves start to rattle and the tree begin to
sway. I remember my dad’s voice over the wind
yell, “Bart, Hold on tightly.” So I did. The next thing
I know, I heard Tammy screaming at the top of
her lungs, laying flat on the ground. She had fallen
out of the tree.
I scampered down the tree to safety. My dad later
told me why she fell and I did not. Apparently,
Tammy’s mother was not as an astute student of
language as my father. When Tammy’s mother felt
the gust of wind, she yelled out, “Tammy, don’t fall!”
And Tammy did… fall.
My dad then explained to me that the mind has a
very difficult time processing a negative image. In
fact, people who rely on internal pictures cannot
see a negative at all. In order for Tammy to process
the command of not falling, her nine-year-old brain
had to first imagine falling, then try to tell the brain
not to do what it just imagined. Whereas, my
eight-year-old brain instantly had an internal image
of me hanging on tightly.
This is why people who try to stop smoking struggle
with the ct of stopping smoking. They are running
pictures all day of themselves smoking. Smokers are
rarely taught to see themselves breathing fresh air
and feeling great. The language itself becomes one
barrier to success.
This concept is especially useful when you are
attempting to break a habit or set a goal. You can’t
visualize not doing something. The only way to
properly visualize not doing something is to actually
find a word for what you want to do and visualize
that. For example, when I was thirteen years old, I
played for my junior high school football team. I
tried so hard to be good, but I just couldn’t get it
together at that age. I remember hearing the words
run through my head as I was running out for a
pass, “Don’t drop it!” Naturally, I dropped the ball.
My coaches were not skilled enough to teach us
proper “self-talk.” They just thought some kids could
catch and others couldn’t. I’ll never make it pro, but I’m
now a pretty good Sunday afternoon football player,
because all my internal dialogue is positive and
encourages me to win. I wish my dad had coached me
playing football instead of just climbing trees. I might
have had a longer football career.
Here is a very easy demonstration to teach your kids
and your friends the power of a toxic vocabulary.
Ask them to hold a pen or pencil. Hand it to them.
Now, follow my instructions carefully. Say to them,
“Okay, try to drop the pencil.” Observe what they do.
Most people release their hands and watch the pencil
hit the floor. You respond, “You weren’t paying
attention. I said TRY to drop the pencil. Now please
do it again.” Most people then pick up the pencil and
pretend to be in excruciating pain while their hand tries
but fails to drop the pencil.
The point is made.
If you tell your brain you will “give it a try,” you are
actually telling your brain to fail. I have a “no try” rule in
my house and with everyone I interact with. Either
people will do it or they won’t. Either they will be at
the party or they won’t. I’m brutal when people
attempt to lie to me by using the word try. Do they
think I don’t know they are really telegraphing to the
world they have no intention of doing it but they want
me to give them brownie points for pretended effort?
You will never hear the words “I’ll try” come out of
my mouth unless I’m teaching this concept in a seminar.
If you “try” and do something, your unconscious mind
has permission not to succeed. If I truly can’t make a
decision I will tell the truth. “Sorry John. I’m not sure
if I will be at your party or not. I’ve got an outstanding
commitment. If that falls through, I will be here.
Otherwise, I will not. Thanks for the invite.”
People respect honesty. So remove the word “try”
from your vocabulary. My dad also told me that
psychologists claim it takes seventeen positive
statements to offset one negative statement. I have
no idea if it is true, but the logic holds true. It might
take up to seventeen compliments to offset the
emotional damage of one harsh criticism.
These are concepts that are especially useful when
raising children. Ask yourself how many compliments
you give yourself daily versus how many criticisms.
Heck, I know you are talking to yourself all day long.
We all have internal voices that give us direction.
So, are you giving yourself the 17:1 ratio or are you
shortchanging yourself with toxic self-talk like, “I suck.
I’m fat. Nobody will like me. I’ll try this diet. I’m not
good enough. I’m so stupid. I’m broke, etc. etc.”
If our parents can set a lifetime of programming with
one wrong statement, imagine the kind of programming
you are doing on a daily basis with your own internal
dialogue. Here is a list of Toxic Vocabulary words.
Notice when you or other people use them.
But
Try
If
Might
Would Have
Should Have
Could Have
Can’t
Don’t
But - negates any words that are stated before it. If - presupposes that you may not. Would have - past tense that draws attention to
things that didn’t actually happen. Should have - past tense that draws attention to
things that didn’t actually happen (and implies guilt.) Could have - past tense that draws attention to
things that didn’t actually happen but the person
tries to take credit as if it did happen. Try - presupposes failure. Might - It does nothing definite. It leaves options
for your listener. Can’t / Don’t - These words force the listener
to focus on exactly the opposite of what you
want. This is a classic mistake that parents and
coaches make without knowing the damage of
this linguistic error.
Examples:
Toxic phrase: “Don’t drop the ball!” Likely result: Drops the ball
Better language: “Catch the ball!”
Toxic phrase: “You shouldn’t watch so
much television.” Likely result: Watches more television. Better language: “I read too much television
makes people stupid. You might find yourself turning
that TV off and picking up one of those books more
often!”
Exercise:Take a moment to write down
all the phrases you use on a daily basis or any Toxic
self-talk that you have noticed yourself using. Write
these phrases down so you will begin to catch yourself
as they occur and change them.

When one is feeling self-conscious, one becomes aware of even the smallest of one’s own actions. Such awareness can impair one’s ability to perform complex actions. For example, a piano player may “choke,” lose confidence, and even lose the ability to perform the moment they notice the audience. As self-consciousness fades one may regain the ability to “lose one’s self.” A person especially prone to self-consciousness may be labeled shy or introverted.

One of the most common reasons why people want to use handwriting analysis in their life, is they want to know how intelligent somebody is, how ethical they are and they want to know how compatible they would be in a romantic or business situation.
A cumulative thinker is procedural and slow. They take their time. They analyze things and want all the facts before making a decision. Cumulative thinkers can be a very valuable and thorough asset. They have round m’s and n’s which form smooth letters.
A comprehensive thinker has sharp, pointy m’s and n’s. They are fast thinkers and fast talkers. They don’t always analyze things deeply or have an eye for detail. They will make a fast decision.
Look at your own handwriting. And, inside the course, there are other subtle distinctions which make this theory accurate everytime.

“I am very happy that I made this investment. I look forward to continuing my education with Handwriting University. The experience has been great, and enrolling in this program has been one of the smartest things I have ever done.”
By D. West, Contributing Writer and Certified Handwriting Expert
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said that “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.”
The irony is that most of us believe that fear protects us from harm, when the reality is that it often leads to controlling behaviors such as paranoia, narrow-mindedness and aggression.
We convince ourselves that the desire to control others is necessary to protect all, when in reality it displays a lack of faith in our own abilities to handle any situation - no matter what the outcome. The belief that fate is cruel often becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, as we insist on resisting, rather than surrendering to life events.
Control freaks repeatedly suffer negative experiences, simply because they lack the belief that the universe is a good place that is constantly “on the upswing,” and therefore is naturally inclined to provide luck and opportunity as opposed to misery and threats.
Do you believe that life is inclined to flow correctly or do you think you have to control events because life flows against you?
For healthy individuals, the idea of “losing control” is actually associated with fun. Studies have shown that developing character traits such as flexibility, adaptability and optimism are concurrent with a greater incidence of good fortune in life.
Sadly, the typical control freak often achieves a public self image that is the opposite of what they are trying to achieve with their pretense of force and authority. They are often disliked by others and perceived as emotionally insecure, rather than as powerful people.
The desire to control is based on a fear of change and a conviction that all change is negative. This outworn defense mechanism is usually left over from a childhood where the individual may have learned the fine art of over-vigilance, due to a toxic or unpredictable parent. In adult-hood “necessary protection” becomes a paralyzing and self-defeating liability, as the control freak refuses to accept a certain, ages-old cosmic law — the more we attempt to manipulate or control events, the more they seem to control or manipulate us.
Control freaks actually have less control in the end.
The sages say, “The pain is in the struggle. The more we attempt to control, the more we lose our ability to manifest success.”
Evidence of this kind of self-sabotaging struggle is indicated by certain handwriting traits:
Primary Control Traits:
Does the writing look pretty and perfect? If so, then that person has a fear of not being perfect. Get it? If they exert that much time and precision to make the baseline straight and the letters all match - then they have a fear of things being “out of place.”
Controlling individuals are also over-concerned with detail and the way his or her writing appears on the page. Often, this is shown by making sure that each small i is capped very closely by its dot.
The writing may also express retentiveness in other ways: successive or repeated letters may be formed identically throughout the document with a particular emphasis on up and down strokes being identical. Each line of writing may appear super straight, as if a ruler underscored each line of the manuscript.
The above assessment is the “gestalt” or overall rhythm and look of the writing.
When you learn the level 5 “advanced trait stacking” method, you can identify complicated traits by stacking various strokes together. So often, a person might have control issues, even if they don’t have that one “domineering t-bar”. So, order the new DVD Advanced Course today and learn the advanced primary and stacked traits methods, read about it here
The following trait is a specific stroke: domineering.
A domineering personality will often cross their t’s from left to right in a downward motion. If the t-bar is low on the stem - then you throw in low self-esteem and this compounds the insecurity.
If the t-bar dips to the right and into the baseline with a sharp point (sarcasm). . . watch out.
If the t-bar has a blunt ending the person is just dominant, not domineering. (domineering has negative connotations, dominant can just be a good type of control.)
An indication that you are dealing with a potential Hitler is if the t resembles a little stick figure man leaning to the side, trying to touch his right hand to his right toe. This reveals great instability and an individual that is not only his own worst enemy — he might become yours!
When it comes to dealing with your unconscious fears, “resistance really is futile.” Changing your handwriting can help you surrender those fears which lead to controlling and self-defeating behaviors that are unattractive to others and repel the kindness of fate.
You can now take the Certification Course and come to the Las Vegas Annual Conference…
